When you are in this kind of chronic cell energy deficit due to wrong breathing, your body also keeps your metabolic rate lower and your energy levels lower in order to save energy, and this also makes it harder to lose weight or maintain weight.
In this situation your body also produces more stress hormones to compensate the low cell energy state and these stress hormones create more ugly and unhealthy stomach fat.

However if you breathe correctly – then you give your cells optimal amounts of oxygen, and the foods you eat are burned to energy properly, and your cells get optimal amounts of energy.
In this situation your body lowers the hunger signaling and you automatically eat less and lose weight. Also in this situation your metabolic rate stays higher and you are automatically more energetic – which also helps you to lose weight and keep it off.
In this situation your stress hormones also normalize, which causes you to lose especially the ugly unhealthy stomach fat.
In summary, oxygen deficiency inside your cells due to wrong breathing makes you overeat and also lowers metabolic rate and energy levels plus causes you to gain excess stomach fat – and that is the secret root cause of weight issues.

The more industrialized the lifestyle becomes, the more wrong breathing tends to become. Breathing got critically wrong after 1980 in industrialized countries and that’s exactly the time when people started to get fatter faster in those countries. Before that people breathed reasonably close to correct and because of that, they also were reasonably slim.
High caloric addictive foods also make getting fat easier. Genes and hormones also affect hugely. But because there’s no overweight people who breathe correctly – incorrect breathing is likely to be the main root cause of excess weight.
